(OUTSIDE)Random images : Capeside's creek , the dock , and then New York's towers (not the twins obviously) (INSIDE) Joey's apartment Pacey:(Standing near the couch , wearing a coat)It won't get me long , it's just a thing and then we'll go wherever you want Joey:(Sitting on the couch , papers in her hands , she looks bored) Yeah , well , I think I can't . I'm behind schedule as always . Pacey: Come on , Jo . Throw away that and get ready (Smiles and kiss her) I won't accept a no . Joey:(She smiles and surrenders) Ok,deal . (Surprised) But where are you going? At the restaurant? Pacey:(Walking towards the door)Yeah ,there are things I have to solve , nothing important(Opens the door) . I'll be home early Joey looks the closed door and shakes her head smiling . *Dawson's Creek Theme* (INSIDE) LA . Film Studios We see Dawson , his head on some papers , sitting at a table . Suddenly he puts his head up and he looks exhausted . Dawson: I'm on it . A good , unexcepted death . What do you say? Crew:(Skeptical) A death Dawson? I don't know , it doesn't seem such a good idea . We need something more . Dawson: Something more huh? (We see that he's about to give up) Believe me , my head just exploded the other day , I thought too much and..I get nothing! I am.....see? I can't even talk . (He gets up and start running towards the door)And I'm late as always (He looks the crew) Guys , I trust you , but I really gotta run (He walks away) He looks the watch and then looks up . (INSIDE) Pacey's restaurant Pacey looks up and then looks the watch . He looks at the door , sees Dawson and smiles . Pacey:Ehi , you made it . Dawson: Yeah , sorry , it's just that I don't have any idea for the show and the only thing that I thought of was a death. And if I think that's the solution to the problems..well.. Their looks get darker and we understand that they're thinking of Jen . Pacey: Come on man , you know it's not true . It's difficult for everyone but today I wanna be happy cause I had a great idea . ( He smiles) Dawson:(Surprised) What's that? Pacey: As you certainly know , in about two days it's Joey's birtday . Dawson: Yep . Pacey: And in about three days exactly it's Jack's birthday . Dawson: And you want to throw 'em a surprise party , don't you?(Smiles) Pacey: I know , I know it's not such a great idea. ( He laughs)but..(He gets serious) we think it's better for Jack if he gets more free time . Joey called him yesterday . He's still devastated . Dawson: It's more difficult for him . (He suddenly changes the subject)So? What are the details? Pacey: Well , I called Audrey... The camera moves away and the scene gets black . (INSIDE)Jack and Doug's home . Capeside . Doug is washing the dishes , he looks at the little Amy that's asleep and then his looks goes on Jack , on the porch . He walks to him . Doug: How are you? Jack opens his mouth to talk Doug: I'm sorry , I don't..I thought it was better than "See what a beautiful day?" Jack:(Smiles a little bit)Amy? Doug:Don't worry , she's sleeping Jack:(He suddenly starts to cry)I miss her so much. It's so damn difficult! Doug:I know Jack , I know. (He embraces him and then he looks in his eyes). But you can go through this . Jack doesn't answer (INSIDE)Joey's apartment NY Joey's still reading when the phone begins to ring . She doesn't want to answer but she decides to answer anyway Joey: Hello! Audrey: Joey Potter! My girl! Joey:(Surprised and happy . Audrey! My nemesis! How are you?And the tour? Audrey:Well , it's a long story..that I'll tell you very soon. Like in two days... Joey: What? Are you serious? Oh my God! You can stay with us as long as you want to . Audrey: We'll see bunny . Sure thing is we're gonna celebrate . Joey thinks that she's talking about her birthday . Audrey:....My new contract!! I had to tell you! I couldn't wait! Joey:(She looks a little disappointed but she tries to be happy for the news)Wow..I'm shocked..I can't wait to see you.. Audrey: Aww , me too Joey: Bye Audrey: Bye (OUTSIDE) Capeside's streets . Andie and Jack are walking . Andie: Thanks for coming with me Jack: You don't have to thank me . I didn't go out for a while . Andie:(She's suddenly worried) And that's what I wanted to talk you about Jack . I think that... Jack:(Chilling her)Andie , I'm fine . Don't worry . Andie:No Jack , it's serious . Now we're gonna step into that bar and you're gonna listen to me! Ok? Jack:(Breathing)Ok . They enter in a bar and sit down . Andie: I've been in Capeside for a while Jack and I understand how Jen's death has wrecked your life .(Jack looks away) But you gotta keep on living . You have a baby now and for her sake , yours and Doug's , you gotta live . Face this thing and... Jack:(He explodes screaming) What do you know uh? How much it's difficult ! It's not simple and it's not fair! You can't tell me what's right for me now! Andie:(Upset)I wanted... Jack: You're always telling me that I can go through this , that I can have back a normal life . Well..I won't and it's not gonna happen . (He runs away) The camera moves to Andie . (INSIDE)Grams' house . Capeside . Grams:(Talking to Jack)Amy will have our love and everything that we can possibly give her . And we...(She takes Jack's hands in her) we're gonna be there for her . Grams looks at Doug and he shakes his head as in a no . Grams: And I'm telling you this things because you're gonna be much more relaxed when you'll be in New York . Jack:(Stunned) What? New York? Why? I ...don't...(He looks at Doug) Doug: I saw your behaviour lately , Andie saw it too , we're all worried about you Jack...so I thought that a little distraction couldn't hurt you . Jack: I don't wanna go to New York . I have and I want to be with Amy . Leaving it won't heal me . Grams: Oh , Jack I just told you . Everything's going to be fine . (She looks in his eyes)Jen's gone , it has been seven months... we can just go on with our lives , remembering her as if she was with us . Jack is starting to cry and he embraces Grams that's holding Amy . Doug:(He put a hand on Jack's shoulder)We have to go , or we're gonna be late . (INSIDE) Joey's apartment . Joey:(Searching for something in the drawers)Where is it?? Pacey enters in the bedroom , gives a kiss on Joey's neck but she keeps searching . Pacey: What are you looking for love? Joey: My white sweater...the one you gave me for Christmas . Have you seen it? Pacey: No , I don't think so . But( He smiles) you better get ready because I reserved the best restaurant in all New York...that would be mine(He laughs and make Joey laughs too)for an intimate dinner . Joey:(Holding him)Oh yeah? And what would be the occasion? Pacey: No one miss Potter! Can't I just organize something cute without you looking me suspicious like there's something I... Joey: Well , I thought that given the circumstances... Pacey: I swear that it's just a dinner...what would be the occasion anyway? It's just to go out .(He stops to hold her to not let her discover the party)I'm going to take a shawer and then we'll go . Joey: Ok Pace .(She looks sad because she thinks that everybody forgot her birthday) (OUTISDE) New York's Streets Pacey and Joey are walking . Pacey:Come on Jo , you took an hour to get ready and you haven't even find your sweater . Joey:(Sarcastic)What's the matter? it's just a simple dinner remember? Pacey:(Mocking her)Have I ever told you how funny you are? (INSIDE) Pacey's restaurant NY Joey and Pacey walks in , there's nobody in there , Joey looks a little surprised and then Jack and Doug walk in . Joey: Jack! Doug! What are you doing here? (She embraces Jack) Jack:Well...I... He can't even start to speak that Dawson , Andie and Audrey come out of the kitchen . Audrey: Happy birthday! Joey:(Touched and surprised)Guys , this is so... Jack:Wonderful ! Everybody start to embrace . Audrey: Joey! Joey: Oh , Audrey! Then Dawson embraces Joey . Dawson: Happy birthday Jo , even if it's not today Joey: Thank you for coming Dawson , I know that you're so busy . Dawson: For you , always Joey smiles . Pacey: Ok , guys . Dinner's ready!! Everybody sit down chatting . Joey is sitting between Pacey and Audrey . Joey: You gotta tell me everything Audrey ! Audrey: Easy , bunny . Tonight is your night and I don't wanna impose myself with my natural charm . Joey and the gang smile . Jack is standing near Andie , that's already sat down . She moves the chair and smiles , Jack smiles and he sits down . Jack: So...you already knew everything uh? Andie: Yeah .I took a plane right after our discussion . And I wanted to say... Jack: I'm sorry I yelled at you Andie , I'm truly sorry . I understood too late everybody else was right . Andie:(She smiles) But now you're here . Jack: Yeah , after an allucinating trip and not to mention that the time difference is killing me . They laugh . (OUTSIDE) Pacey's restaurant Pacey is throwing off the garbage when Joey walks to him . Then he stares at the stars and Joey comes near him . Pacey:(After looking at Joey for a little bit)I know you too well . Joey:(Joking)And what does that mean? Pacey: You thought I'd forget it right? Joey:(She known he's right but she tries to hide it and she doesn't look at him)No . (Then she looks in his eyes) Yes , I admit it . Pacey:(Taking her hands) I could never forget a thing like that . Joey: It's just that it came to my mind that party from hell and I was sad .(Worried) But not for the thing that happed between me and Dawson...it was... Pacey: I know it's not for that . It's awful when everybody forget your birthday right , silly girl?(He touches her nose joking)But now everything's different . Joey:(Smiling)I know . I'm with you . She kisses him and the camera moves away while they're still kissing and it turns to black. « Back |
