Mrs.Miller : I know , Mrs. Ryan ,but it's not up to me . Grams: I think it's mostly up to you instead . Mrs.Miller : This afternoon we'll have another special meeting . That's all I can do . Grams: I just hope Amy's life won't be always so hard . Mrs.Miller : Some people are just... Grams: I know what you mean . They both look at Amy that's laughing . *Dawson's Creek Theme* (INSIDE) Dawson's house . Los Angeles . Dawson and Mandy are watching a movie when somebody knock on the door . Dawson: Sorry , I'll get it . Mandy smiles and keeps watching . Dawson opens the door and we see Joey . Dawson: (Really surprised) Joey? What...? Joey: (Sad) I'm sorry to just show up like this...all of a sudded..it's just that...(She start to cry) Dawson: (Worried) Joey , what is it? What happened? Joey can't speak . Dawson: Come on , let's go inside . Mandy comes in the hall . Mandy: Who was Dawson? (The she stops and sees Joey) Joey: (Trying to hide the tears) Hi , Mandy . Mandy: (Embarassed) Hi . Dawson: Mandy , we're going in the kitchen to talk a little . Mandy: Ok , I'll just go out . Joey: Oh no , I don't wanna bother anyone . Please don't go away because of me . Mandy: (Smiling) Don't worry , I love to walk . Dawson: I'll see you later . Mandy goes out and they enter in the kitchen . (INSIDE) Capeside's High School Jack: (Talking to his class) Do you remember when I assigned you a poem where you had to write about what scared you the most? Class doesn't answer . Jack: I'll pretend you've answered my question . Class laughs . Jack: Well , this time you gotta write another poem or something like that , about how you neutralized your fears , how you're going to neautralize them and who's gonna help you or helped you . Everthing clear? A student : And what if I can't write? Jack: There's always something to say . The bell rings and the class goes away . Jack gets out of the classroom and he meets Doug . Jack: Hey . Doug: Hi , Jack . Jack: So...you're here for... Doug: General control over students...and teachers... Jack smiles . Doug: (Serious) And Mrs.Ryan called . Jack: Just call her Grams . Doug:(Laughing) I will...someday...(Returns serious)Anyway , there's another meeting with Mrs.Miller this afternoon . Jack: (Worried) Another meeting? Oh God , hope it'll go better this time . Doug: (Putting a hand on his shoulder) I'll see you later . (INSIDE) Will's house . Boston . Andie is sleeping in Will's bed when she wakes up and sees Will that sleeps near her and smiles . She's almost falling asleep again when Will wakes up . Will: Andie... Andie: How do you feel? Will: Never been better . Andie kisses him . Will: So...you gotta get to work? Andie: Unfortunately , yes . Andie: (Getting really tense) I don't know what it is but...I feel strange . Will: What do you mean? Andie: I don't know...strangely tense . Will: It's for Joey and Pacey? Andie: (Looking at him) When Jack told me I couldn't believe it . It's so unfair . Will: Are you feeling guilty cause you didn't go to him? Andie: Jack told me that when he called Doug he was...falling into pieces , he never heard him like this . Will: If you wanna go nobody's holding you . Andie: No , it's just...I don't think he needs me right now but I feel bad for him . Will: Come here . He holds her closer . (INSIDE) Dawson's house . Los Angeles . Joey and Dawson are sitting at the table . Dawson: Joey , what happened? Joey: (Looking straight in his eyes) I..I lost the baby . Dawson: (Shocked) Joey , I..I'm really sorry . (He hugs her) Joey starts to cry again . Dawson: Why did you come here? Pacey'll be... Joey: (Interrupting him) I just wanted...to talk to someone that wouldn't judge me . Dawson: Pacey would've never judge you , Joey ! You're crazy to think that . Joey: But I had to take care of the baby and I didn't... Dawson: Joey , I'm glad you came here but... Joey: I know . You're not the one I should explain this . Dawson: (Smiling) Life goes on Joey . Not everything is lost forever . Joey: I missed you . I never see you . Dawson: I missed you too . Joey: Mandy seems nice . Dawson: She's wonderful , she always makes me feel... Joey: Alive? Dawson: Yes , alive . Joey: I have a person like this..but I think I'm losing him . Dawson: That's not true Joey . Look deeper and you'll see that Pacey is always there with you . He's my best friend and I know him . Joey's eyes light up because Dawson called Pacey "his best friend" and he didn't call him like that for a long time . Joey: I know , but I still need time . Dawson: He'll wait . Joey smiles . (INSIDE) Record Company . Los Angeles . We're in Harry's office . Audrey enters . Harry: Audrey . Audrey: Harry . Harry: So..I guess you don't wanna make that cd anymore . Audrey: I surely do . And I wanna add this to the tracks . (He gives him a paper) Harry reads it . Harry: So..this is what you feel about me ? Audrey: Yes . Harry: Audrey , we have to be together . We can't ignore this strong feeling . Audrey: I can't leave Chris . It's gonna break his heart . Harry: I don't understand , you're hurting him more like this . Audrey: It's my decision . Harry: Is he coming to the party ? Audrey: I think he is so...we have to try to be spontaneous . Harry: (A little angry) Audrey , the only thing that I wanna do when I'm with you is kiss you...and hold you . You're right , it's your decision but don't tell me to hide my feelings . Harry goes away . (INSIDE) Grams' house . Capeside . Jack , Doug and Grams,holding Amy that's asleep , enter in the house . Grams: I'm gonna make some tea . (She puts Amy to bed then she returns) Doug and Jack are talking . Jack: (Joking) I could use something a little stronger than tea . Doug: Come on Jack . It wasn't that bad . Jack: No but...I don't think Amy's gonna enter . Grams: I wouldn't be so sure . We talked and discussed and even if I don't think everybody will accept two homosexual as parents... Doug: Something good came out . Grams: Someone took your position and that's already something . Jack: (Smiling) Jen would've fight until the end . Grams: And that's what we'll do . They smile . (OUTSIDE) Dawson's house . Los Angeles . Dawson is getting something from the car when he sees a car and Pacey getting out of it . Pacey: Hi , Dawson . Dawson: Pacey , (He hugs him) I'm sorry..for what happened . Pacey: So...she's here . Dawson: Not anymore . She went to Audrey's..about an hour ago . Pacey: I know that we don't tell each other som many things like it used to be but...I think I'm losing her...and I'm really scared . Dawson: You're not losing her Pace . She loves you . And I think yuo should talk to her , as soon as possible . Pacey: Thanks Dawson . It was good to see you again . Dawson smiles and Pacey goes away . (INSIDE) Audrey's room . Los Angeles . Joey and Audrey are on the bed . Joey: Well , I think he's right . Audrey: I think so too but...it's too difficult . Joey: Yeah , I understand . Audrey: Oh , Joey . (She hugs her) You can stay as long as you want . Joey: No , you've got a big party coming on , your loves . I can't stay at Dawson's and I can't go back to New York . Audrey: So...you're going to Capeside? Joey: I have to tell my Dad and Bessie . I'm sure Pacey called Doug but I don't think they already know . Audrey: And Pacey? He's coming with you ? Joey: I don't know . The doorbell rings . Audrey: I'll be right back . Audrey comes back with Pacey . Joey: (Surprised) Pace! Pacey: Jo , I really need to talk to you . Audrey: I'm going away , take your time . Joey: I think I owe you an explanation . Pacey: I'm not mad because you went to Dawson . Joey: Well , I went to him cause Audrey wasn't home . Pacey: You didn't go straight to him? Joey: No , Pace , I'm not fifteen anymore . And I need to tell you..I feel guilty... Pacey: For what? Joey: I lost the baby and I wasn't capable of taking care of it . Pacey: Joey , that's so not true . Don't even think about that . Joey: And I thought , I don't know , that maybe you thought that I can't be a mother . Pacey: I would never think something like that . Joey: Please , hold me . Pacey hugs her and then he notices her hand . Pacey: You've still my ring on . Joey: Pacey...I'll never take it off . Pacey smiles . Joey: I'm going to Capeside the day after tomorrow . I would like you coming with me , if you want . Pacey: Don't worry , Joey . We'll go together , don't be scared .
